Innospec Opens New Laboratory Wing
New Facility Provides Research & Development Support to the Americas
Dover, Del. (June 9, 2009) – On Tuesday, Governor Jack Markell, Delaware Economic Development Office Director Alan Levin, Innospec CEO Patrick Williams and Innospec Director of R&D, Ian MacMillan, celebrated the official opening of Innospec Fuel Specialties New Laboratory Wing.
Innospec’s Delaware Petroleum Laboratory provides research and development support to the company’s operations in the Americas. As the Innospec Fuel Specialties has grown over the past decade and the fuel industry itself moves forward into an era of increased emphasis on renewable fuel use (including ethanol and biodiesel), the company has expanded its lab facilities to allow for growth and maintain its commitment to be a technology driven organization.
“Innospec’s roots began in Delaware over 70 years ago with DuPont,” said Governor Jack Markell. “We are honored that Innospec continues to reside in Delaware and proud of the landmark research and development that is occurring in this research facility every day.”
